As part of Local Enterprise Week 2026, Tipperary County Council announced that Stephen O'Sullivan, founder of I Left You A Note, had been selected as the county's representative for the National Enterprise Awards - Ireland's most prestigious competition for businesses supported by Local Enterprise Offices.
The announcement described ILYAN as a hotel guest engagement platform that enables real-time private feedback, helps resolve issues before checkout, reduces negative online reviews and drives incremental revenue through digital concierge, upselling and in-room ordering.
"Ireland is full of ideas but turning an idea into a viable business takes support, knowledge and confidence. That's where the Local Enterprise Offices come in. Local Enterprise Week is about making those supports visible and accessible - from funding and mentoring to training and practical tools - so entrepreneurs can move faster and go further."
Anthony Fitzgerald, Head of Enterprise & Economic Development - Local Enterprise Office TipperaryLocal Enterprise Week is an annual initiative run by Local Enterprise Offices across Ireland, designed to make the supports available to entrepreneurs more visible and accessible. Events, workshops, mentoring sessions and announcements take place throughout the week, with the National Enterprise Awards nomination announcement being one of the most significant moments for the county's business community.
ILYAN's selection represented recognition from the LEO network of the platform's potential - and of the progress made since Stephen joined the New Frontiers programme in May 2024.
